So im looking at some apartments right now and one I am looking at is an upper level but comes with garage parking.
The garage unites are not really insulated well and are all interconnected to the other units. However, it is within 2 miles from the beach in Southern California where it will only break 90 a few days of the summer.

Can I keep my tank in the garage (with a fan) or do you think it will become too hot?

Moved to setup and filtration.

As for your question, I'd be inclined to say it probably wouldn't work however as even an uninsulated building can get awfully hot in the summer. I know my garage gets significantly hotter than it does outside, I'd imagine it'd get up to about 120 in there.

ah ok thank you, hmm bummer but I kind of thought so. I would hope a fan would cool it enough but on a hot summer day the radiate heat will most likely overwhelm the small bit of cooling the fans airflow will do.
