lets say i was to filter a 2500 gal pond with about 8 full grown arowanas in it would pressurized filter like Tetra Pond 4000 or Cyprio BioForce 4000 be good enough or you think dumping the the extra cash for a bead filter like Aquadyne bead filter be better for this situiation?

I would go with the bead filter. It Will do a better job ,carry a larger bioload, can handle a quicker turnover rate, and is much easier to maintain and clean.

You cant overkill filtration. You should over-filter as much as possible given your budget and space, and bead filters are the way to go. I have a 3,000 gallon koi pond with a HUGE bead filter rated for 10,000 gallons. With your pond, I recommend a bead filter rated for at least 5,000 gallons

hay all. im interesting on setting up a pond for myself to house some pacu's and a few cats. i wanted the best filtration system and i herd about the bead filters such as the Aquadyne and the Aqua's Ultima II. i just wanted some advise and some visual ideas on how the setups work.
