So I have a 125 and bought a 72" beam works full spectrum LED... I found out it bows in the middle. I really don't care but I'm afraid it's so thin I should add a couple support pieces. What don you guys think?

I have had mine on my 250 for years and it does not now at all. I would check and see if it’s broke.

I've had the 72" for about 6 years without any problems, it does bow, but hasn't had any problems yet.

Hey M Mathiuspage ,
I almost bought a Beams Works off Amazon until I found an LED shop light for $20.
I've read a ton of reviews on Amazon about Beams Works and some customer reviews did mention that their lights did in fact bend a little. I guess it's the luck of the draw when purchasing your light. You could always add a small piece of 2x4 in the middle of the light (maybe paint it black) or something else in the appropriate size, or just leave it be which won't hurt anything. Just an idea. GL

Thanks i was thinking black wood scraps but I really don't mind the bend I just was afraid it would or could damage it if I left it.

I’ve had mine mounted with the attached legs, and without. If you don’t want it to bow, remove the legs and it will sit directly on your lids with less ambient light. Mine is on legs now and bows, but does not effect the function. I also thought about making support legs in the center out of spare greenhouse siding since it’s clear, but never got to it and haven’t had any issues from not doing it.
