Want to switch to led but not sure if I should go with the beamworks 48" led strip. I want it mainly for the night lights. I have a basic tube light on my 75 right now. Should I pull the trigger and just buy it?

If you browse the forums you will see several reviews for this light and I have 3 of them and never had an issue with them in the past year.

Will 1 48" led strip be ok for a 75 gallon? I have read those threads and get mixed feelings from them

Depends on how bright you like your tanks. I prefer them not super bright so I have a 36" on mine and the fish don't care. Most sa cichlids and loachs prefer the less brightness anyways. If you browse my video thread you can see yhe brightness of a 36.

i just got done watching your videos and the 36 makes the 75 look pretty bright so maybe a 48 would be too much

I have a marineland led light 36" on my 110 and it is plenty bright i would go no more than that on your 75. here is a pic of my 110 can get better pic when i get home but this has the 36" light. Keep in mind tank is almost 36" deep.

Yea the 36" will be enough if you don't want to seem you are looking at the sun in your 75 lol
