Beani for sale??

Not sure what the rules are about posting auctions but did anyone else see this on aquabid? Wonder how legit this guy is.

from what ive read on here about how rare they are i seriously doubt $40/~£20 reserve is legit. but im unsure of what a beani would sell for in a shop.

I'm curious to see what he'll say but yeah, I wouldn't be setting up a tank for them just yet.

Sure is hard to sell a fish on Aquabid without pics! Especially this one. He has pics of all the other fish he has feedback on. His rep is good on his feedback page. Odd that all he has sold till now are Madagascar cichlids. He is in TX though so he may have a source.

I agree with Darth, from all internet conversations I've had with cichlosaman (mostly about Madagascans) he has been very informed and forthright. Maybe he's aware trying to raise beani from 1" is alot like trying to raise haitiensus. And the $500 beani previously for sale, was a large adult.

I met him at the 2007 ACA and he seemed like a good guy. I don't know anything about his beani, though.
