I got 3 beani's in a few weeks ago from Rapps..they were all in a 75g tank..these are the 3.5inch ones..they were getting along fine for bout a week then all of a sudden two were swimming around together while the other one was by himself most of the time. One day I got home and my wife told me that the one beani was getting attacked by the other two..i put a divider in that night and that weekend i seperated the other one into a 30g..now the odd thing is..the other two are still getting along and I havent seen any agression from them..could it be they are pairing up or are they still too young?..there are no tank mates at all..

I'd say they are pairing up. I'd put in some top swimming dithers in the tank to keep there minds and body occupied so they don't turn on each other if there is no threat in the tank.

I got two from rapps and he turned them over to determine sex , the funny thing about it is that i had to put a divider in yesterday because the male keeps attacking the female in the 75 gallon, they dont have any tankmates and i seperated them because the female wont come out the corner and when i did shes swimming all over the place in the tank.
