Here is my Beani, from Jeff Rapps(of course) at around 3.5"
Unfortunately my photo skills are not that good, but this fish is amazing, they gold color of it was not what I was excpecting. this fish glows. He eats well and is very active. cant wait to see it at 8" since its getting nicer by the day.

its really nice man. I know they are aggressive to each other but what are they like towards other cichlids in general? Looks like you have him with an electric blue dempsey. Great pic up and post more pics of him.
 
the ebjd more then holds his own. although they are young and I know that the beani would own him at a later time, but I was using the ebjd to get the beani compfortable and adjusted to the tank. I find sometimes when i get a lone show case cichlid like this they tend to hide and feel scared in a 75g alone. so i throw in other fish to help them adjust, there are also two giant danios and a jag pleco

oh yea, the ebjd can be bought if someone wants to pick him up in Central NJ, i have him in the buy/sell forum
