Other than Jeff Rapps who can supply me and others with these fish?

I believe that is about it at the moment. There might be a few non vendors that are breeding them, but currently Jeff seems to be the only retailer. I heard Don Conkel has a pair and will have some available soon.

I hope he does, I think ewok or house64 gave him their Beani but I dont know.

that would be the case for mr. conkel. i hope he manages to breed them on a commercial scale so we get this nice fish back into the mainstream hobby.

Why do you say other than Jeff Rapps D-train? I hear he has some nice chunky growouts!

Tried and the order coordinator guy cancelled the order because Jeff was charging an absurd amount in inconvenience fees.

Ewok I hope so too.

Inconvenience fees or paperwork/permit fees to ship into Canada? I've never shipped fish to Canada, but I do know it's crazy expensive.

As for Don, won't it take a year or two at least to grow them up to breeding size and to then breed them and raise the offspring up to sellable size? Not saying he's not going to do it, it's just going to be a while.

Maybe try contacting Spencer Jack? I know he's in Canada and might be able to point you in the right direction.

I order fish 5 or 6 times a year around the globe, I've never have permit or paperwork fees before. Shipping here isn't usually that bad, even from Thailand. I've actually talked to Spence, and he "might" have a line in a few months. Other than that we're SOL.
