I have several tanks where i work that are heavily infested with what i have always heard as called beard algae, it's kinda neat looking but it just takes over the entire tank, mainly decor, filter tubes, heaters and pretty much anything else, sometimes it even bunches up on the gravel. What i am looking for is to see if anyone has a cure for it. I have tried algae fix, tetra algae control, when aquatronics was around still i tried algae destroyer, and any other kind of algae control you can pretty much name. Phos. test at zero, lights are only around 4 months old in the main tanks where it's at it's strongest. I have tried mixing it in with every pleco, algae eater, snail, and algae grazing fish we have and still no results. Can anyone help? by the way, this stuff does not just come off if you scrub, it actually anchors into whatever it's growing on, even when i have tried to bleach the stuff all it does is kill the chlorophyll, taking away the color of it and leaves behind white hairs. Thanks in advance. Dan
