well if you can support either animal full grown....go with what you want...which seems like a CWD. it will take more work...but i have owned both and am for it

My wantingness for them is equal and I can support them full grown but I want to start with a baby for obvious reasons. I would like to hear why one would be better than the other to better help make my mind.

I voted Water Dragon because that's what I'd prefer. Both need pretty big adult setups and all the heat/UV light etc, but you can make a nice attractive jungle setup with a water dragon, which I'd prefer over a desert type setup for a beardie.

the bearded dragon just needs a 55 gallon with some uv light heat and some other common sense things..idk about the dragon though but its your choice good luck..

55gal is not suitable for a bearded dragon for life. 40gal breeders are perfect for them because they need deeper rather than taller tanks. I have owned a few CWD but have been keeping beardies for a long time and breed high end beardies so I voted for them. If you want to interact with them, def go with a bearded dragon.

Frilled dragon for the win.

55 gallon to deep they need a basking area of around 110 degrees F with the rest of tank not getting below 70 degree F. Its hard to get a heat lamp that deep and provide an appropriate basking spot. I used driftwood on a slant to provide mine good basking along with a river rock with a heat pad behind it. and a cool zone on other side. they eat alot so do your research or it will get sick and die.

I was thinking of getting a 40 gallon breeder if I didn't build a setup. I am looking for something I can react with.
