I have a bearded dragon thats recovering from a parasite infection, he lost a ton of weight and he wont gain very much back. Whats a good food for getting them fat and healthy.

I think it was pinworms. He got so bad that we had to feed him baby food through a syringe. He is eating now but isn't gaining weight very fast. How many should I feed him?

Wow poor thing, if he wants you can feed as many as he will eat. Mulberry worms are too a excelent food. If possible you should find some way to do a poop analisis to try to identify the parasites. If its criptosporidium your dragons is not out of the woods yet

The vet told us it was pin worms. We're going to the pet store in a bit to get a bunch of waxworms. Would silk worms be good to?

Silkworms, wax worms, roaches, anything like that will work.
I believe silkworms will only eat mulberry leaves though so keeping them long term could be an issue. Also don't forget to gut load. Your feeders are only as good as what you feed them

Depending on how big he is you could try some pinkies as well. I know a lot of people don't recommend them but my beardies always loved them and pinkies have a high fat content so they would help him bulk up

do waxworms. my veiled bulked up after getting sick in about a month. i gave him a few wax worms every 2 or 3 days.
