Wattage does not matter. Heat matters.

How hot is it at the beardies basking spot?

what size tank ?? i have a 150 and a 75 on my 20L the basking spot is at 110

Size of the tank still doesn't matter. I could have a baby beardie in a 10 gallon, and put a 150 watt bulb on there. As long as the bulb is high enough above the basking spot, and the basking spot is still 105 to 110, it is fine. Likewise, I could put a 50 watt bulb on my 10 gallon, provided the basking spot is hot enough.

Oh, sorry.... :hearts:

although a lil pricey, if u have multiple tanks or have other uses buy one of those heat temp with the laser to find out the exact temp. i use it all the time out of curiosity of how hot stuff is. you can get them for around 50$ for a namebrand version. GL
