should i be running 2 different kinds of bulbs? also what are good bulbs to run on a beardie's setup? i am currently running a 150 watt exo-terra sun glo that emits a good amount of heat. thanks

I know that lamp;) you need to combine it with a 10.0 uv lamp

hmm ok.. i think i know the 10. bulb... looks like the power saving lights.... my basking spot is prob warmer then 110 since he sits around the area instead of directly under the light. mercury vapor lamps expensive?

if you dont know the temp i would invest in a therm. first lol
and uv is a MUST

i have a thermometer but it doesn't sit under the light. (for those of you who dont know me, i am not a half *** person, i found this bearded dragon in the trash abut 7 years ago and still have him till today) anyways it registers 100 degrees even about 5 inches over and above the light. i'm guessing my basking area is warmer then 110.

what do you guys run at night? do you run the same lights 24/7?

theres no need for night lights unless your night temps drop below 60. you can buy a digital thermometer with a probe from a pet store(they are made by zoo-med i think) for like 8 bucks. these are the most accurate next to temp guns.
