for the time being they are. i have a looong weekend off of work this week so i'm going to build them their own enclosures.

Good call! Good luck with the enclosure...when I built mine, I wrapped the inside with melamine. Pricey, but well worth it. My entire enclosure is probably around 200 to 250 gallons, but yet can be heated with a simple 50 watt bulb because of the melamine. I also put insulation (the sheet kind used to keep out moisture) in between the melamine and the plywood exterior.
