Indeed slow, but grow fast when you buyem big!Calvus and compressiceps are in the same genus ( altolamprologus ) They are VERY slow growers. That big guy is probably no less than 5 years old. Could be a couple more.
Thanks! The yellow one still has its strips and the black still has spotting and hes 6-7"incher.Nice! But was wondering as the calvus grows older they lose their spotting? IMO it look like a compressiceps...
