Beast of a snakehead

Well I volunteer at this nature center where we keep native herps. In the way of monsters on display, we only have 2 bullhead catfish and 2 american eels. But we keep all the non-native animals in the office house, which I just got a quick tour of. Completely unexpected, the boss keeps a giant snakehead in his office! Its in about 100 gal and is about 2 and a half feet. The staff guy said they took it out in a kiddie pool for a birthday party and the kids had fun swimming with it! I'll get pics next time I go up to work. Later!

Woah the kids were swimming with a 2 and a half foot giant snakehead? Thats nuts. Definitely wouldn't want to be in a confined space with a beast like that
 
They said hes hand tame, and I even got to pet him. He was quite the gentle giant. But haha, neither would I! But I don't know this fish personally, I'm sure if I knew him as long as the boss did I would. THanks for replying though. I think everyone was expecting a giant snakehead pics! lol ;)
 
Ah, sorry late post... I forgot about this thread!

They removed the snakehead from the facility. They are illegal to keep in Virginia I guess, even though it is kept a nature center, it is not on display so I guess its not considered educational or something and was confiscated. Actually it might have been moved to the bosses house, but I know for sure I won't be seeing it for awhile.

If I see that giant again, I'll post pics! Sorry to disappoint! D:

Actually my boss might already have some pics of him, I'll ask him for ya, hows that?
 
If I can't get a hold of pics, how about pics of the bullhead and american eel? Thats monster I guess

Will do. Next day I volunteer is the 13th, I'll be sure to bring the camera. :) I'll ask the boss if he has old pics of the snakehead. I'll get pics of the turtles, snakes, etc too.
