Hmmm have not posted pics of this beastie for quite some time. Thanks to my GF, here he is in all his beastly glory (dont think he will grow much more than this). 2'+ already

Check out them red spots. This guy will eats everything including hikari floating sticks.

I used to feed him eels and spineless catfish as well as snakeheads.

No, it does not bite during water changes. in fact he just retreats to the furtherest corner to wait out the ordeal. Not a jumper either.

He is one of the few aros that can fight to eat something - my asian aros are big wussies - have difficulties eating oversized de-shelled prawns hehehehe though those that live with silver aros now learnt to eat fast and quick ... otherwise starve
