So I am thinking about starting up a breeder tank of live feeders, and I wanted to know which fish or shrimp would be the easiest to breed in a ten gallon tank.
The feeders would be for both my Cichlids and my oscar.

Hands down guppies, they are easy to breed, low in fat (unlike goldfish), and cheap to get, just make sure the fry don't get eaten by the parents, shrimp are a bit tougher, cherry shrimp breed very readily but are VERY sensitive to water changes, I'd recommend crickets in place of them if you can

I would recommend NLS and forget any live feeders no chance of disease with NLS Nls is also better than any live feeders

Most cichlids prefer insects over fish, so get some sand as substrate and raise triops, after 21/2 weeks drain all the water and toss all adult triops into cichlid tank, keep tank dry for a week then add water and start the process again, after a while you may need to set up extra containers as your triops population increases

Sorry about the quote...
Anyways my plan was to get some feeder fish and keep them quarantined in a 10 gallon while in the meantime they breed and would be fed a suitable diet, I would then let the fry grow and reproduce and use certain fry as feeders for the Cichlids and then when they grow and mature I would cull out some as feeders for the Oscar.
I hope that makes sense lol
