Beat up cichlid?

So I got my hands on a pretty beat up fish. He was fighting through cloud eye and it looks like the little ones in the tank were nipping at ALL of his fins.

I'm about to move him out of the tank into a sick tank but I'm curious if his fins are ever going to grow back... while he was almost in a vegetation state... it looks like they really got the better of him.

They should grow back fine, just keep your water quality high...Keep an eye out for infection. A little salt won't hurt, but not necessary if water quality is immaculate
