Figured I'd toss this out there. I'm going to be commuting to OSU in the fall 5 days a week. 120 miles round trip. Looking for an ugly as sin car with a solid engine and tranny. Must get 30+ MPG. If anyone knows of any or sees anything let me know.

I'd love a sick little Geo Metro. Convertible maybe? :drool: Running or not I can fix most anything.

At least I'll be taking some sweet classes like Ichtheology, Systematics of Fishes, Community and Ecosystem Ecology, Field Sampling Fish and Wildlife, and Endangered Species, Society and Sustainability.

Gonna be broke as crap though so a gas sipper will be nice. Kinda bummed I sold my Ford Escort that got 37 MPG.
 
Good luck, you never see running cars for sale for 500.00. The used car market prices really suck. I'm going to be getting rid of my car but the tranny is going out in it.
 
My exact major is going to be a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife. I've already got a BA in Biology. And I'm working in a German restaurant. :cry:

At least I'm not the only one...we just took an application of a Journalism major with a Masters in Education today. She'd make a good dishwasher.

I'm looking at cars like this - broken yet easily fixable.

She wasn't a blond named Naomi, was she? My wife's old college roommate studied journalism and education - she just got laid off from her teaching position...
