saw this beautiful jar while i was visitin LFS in china, it's at least 24", definitely the biggest jar i've seen. never pictured jar to look so stunning at that size, the golden dots in its body just look so damn koo!

the owner told me it's 3 yrs old, but i thought it has to be at least 5...then again, they feed aros live frog over there, da might have something to do w/it.
also, i'm surprised that w/that size of a jar, the fh and red parrot can still be alive...maybe jars change their personality when they reach adult size?

oooo beautiful jar man...but im sure u can find bigger jars in big freshwater exhibits. thanks for sharing though, i love how jars are much thicker than normal arowanas. apparently jars can grow to 3 feet (36inches) but thats yet to be seen...hmmmmm

damn...take a pic of that 41" jar man, da's insane...didn't know aussies get to that size, and damn that lfs for puttin such a monster in a tiny 150g
