I ended up making a little to much Beefheart mix with shrimp, white fish, crab, peas, carriots, bannana, ex. Will this be okay? Im thought im feeding him shrimp and eel right now might as well try it.

It'll eat it, but Beef Heart is pretty fatty which will probably contribute to DE.

"DE" is drop eye. With the mix of foods you mentioned I think you're fine. Beef heart would make up a small percentage of the mix. There is no proven correlation of feeding fatty foods and drop eye anyways. Don't worry about it.

its fine

Everyone seems to lean towards DE being caused by fat build up behind the eye. Could it be that the fat(if it is fat) just builds up in the void left by the DE?

Interesting thought...I'm not sure. I always assume that a poor diet, including foods high in fat, will build up. Kind of like how we get "love handles" and big butts and thighs. There was an OLD thread somewhere where surgery was done on an Asian Aro to rid DE. And I believe they said it was just a fatty deposit.

but if it was fatty deposition, blacks would get DE often like silvers b/c my friend feeds his black feeders for 1 year or so,i convinced him to get the black a healthy diet
