THANKS BRETT

umm.... whats the need of the recipe? Lol I just cut mine into small enough pieces and feed em to the fish, unless your talking about the gelatin stuff that I've read about on the piranah fury forum? Which people take boiled carrots, and beef heart, and random fish products and combine?

Here is a simple recipe for beef heart.

1 ninja guy
1 cow
1 barn

Instructions:
Put the ninja guy and the cow in the barn for ten minutes. Tell the ninja guy to bring you the heart when he is done. Trim away the large fat deposits. Then cut the heart into little bite size pieces and place into sandwich bags to freeze until needed. You can also put it into a blender and add prepared gelatin to produce cubes.

I've never had a fish that would eat it. Most grab it, and quickly spit it out. If you lived close, I would give you about 10lbs. It's in my freezer, and will end up being thown out.

beefheart is better than live food. It takes time to get them on it. I got all my fish on it like my dat and ariapima, now trying to get my bichir to take it.

i dont know what is so good about it thats why i asked for recipies but i did here that it is great for the fish brachers love it so i am told .that is why i want to try it out .

most all of my fish love it, its a good treat for them and they go nuts over it, dissapears quite quickly! and is cheap when you buy the beef hearts yourself and cut em up!

I make my own recipe. Beefheart is loaded with protein for growth, but it's also high in cholesterol. I feed no more than twice a week. Watch for fish prone to bloat.

Here's a small portion recipe:
.5 lb salmon (raw with skin)
.5 lb beefheart (raw, trim the fat)
.5 lb shrimp (raw, with shell, tail off)
2 teaspoon cichlid vital
1 teaspoon spirulina powder
1 teaspoon astaxanthan powder
6 packets of Knox gelatin

Store bulk in freezer, only bring out what you will use in that day. Spoils quick. As you can see, these ingredients will bring out most colors. The result:
