i heard beed heart was really good for your fish, where can i buy this and how much does it cost? and what other cheap leftover meats are good for fish?

premade beefheart can be bought at any fish store pretty much, just ask for frozen foods. Ive heard of some people getting the heart from a butcher and making their own.

Howdy,

I got beef heart at my local grocery store - they just ordered it.

On the other hand, my wolf fish could not digest it, he regurgitated it a day after feeding. Mammalian protein is not the right diet for fish long-term anyhow. Again, my wolf couldn't even eat it as a treat.

I buy beefhearts at my local butcher. I pay $12 for 4 hearts. Most of my fish get it on a semi-regular basis. I use a special mixture that has ~3/5 beeheart and the rest is many other ingredients. My discus get some every day.
