hey guys, as you may know/not know, i just got a GT....

how should i begin to feed him?

background info: came from a large mixed community tank in ghetto china fish store, and was probably only fed live feeders once in a while, and probably didn't get much as he wasn't the biggest in the tank.....

so, should i satiate his hunger by giving live feeders? or already begin the prepared food route?

he kind of eats freeze dried shrimp but sometimes will chew for a while, and just spit it out.....and the only time he eats them are when they get caught up in the current and look alive....

i want him to be healthy - but know that live foods aren't always the way to go.....but given this fragile adjustment time (and the poor conditiions from which he came) - should i feed live feeders?

i would get him onto non-live food. i usually only feed feeders as a treat every once in a while. GTs usually arent picky as to what they eat so he could still be adjusting.

Aren't those crappy Chinese fish stores great? awesome things in there, for cheap prices, but you cant help but feel sorry for the poor fish. The dead ones floating around in the various tanks don't help the situation either.
