I was told at the lfs today thatr/o water was better for the discus and to freeze beefheart and then cut it up in thin small slices too feed the discus with a mixture of bloodworms and brine shrimp so what do you guys think of thiwith 4 juvins feeding and 20% water changes every other day with r/o water changes with 4 juviniles

The only thing I would take from that advice is using beefheart. If you use your own beefheart then I would trim the fat/veins off and mix it with brine shrimp and flake food to create a mix in a food processor. You can look on YouTube for videos on how to make beefheart mixes. Feed 4-5 times a day and do 50% everyday or 90% every two days as beefheart can foul up the water pretty darn quick………
