is beefheart actually cow heart. ive wondered this for a while cause ive never fed any fish beefheart so ive never had a chance to look at it

MOOOOOO........ oh I mean yep it's from cows.

The new thing is turkey heart... they say it's even leaner.

Yep it is.

Ive always gotten good growth rates from it.

yea beefheart is really good for fish.....it sped up my piranhas growth rate alot and almost any fish will accept it....everyfish in my 50g loves it including my pleco he sucks on it and swims around at the same time....its inexpensive and you can feed your fish for a while with a pound.....if you want to order some we have a sponser on this site by the name of fishdigbeefheart.....thats where i get all mine from and my fish love it you should give it a try

Fishdigbeefheart has been putting this out for some time now and I have come across mention of his product on other sites, check it out.

I make my own. Buy a cows heart from the supermarket/butcher, cut it up into chunks and remove all the fatty bits, then puree it in a blender, flatten it out in a plastic zip lock bag and freeze it. One heart lasts me for a couple of months and only costs a couple of dollars!
:clap

Beefheart constitutes some 90% of my fishe's diet. I don't have a blender, so it keeps me busy for half an hour every day.

Does anybody know how to make the arowana eat it?
For now I tie beefheart string around some dry krill, then it floats. But it is very time consuming.
If I just hang it on a fishingline she won't eat it.

I recently got a few pounds of beefheart (and his supermix) from Fishdigbeefheart. This is the real deal guys. The food is great. I feed it equal with mp. My fish have never been this colorful and active! I've fed my RTC, temensis, juruense, ocellaris, bichers, arowana, discus, gar, and knives it. Good stuff!!!
