I need some help. Currently I have a 59"x29.5" table that I use for a computer desk. The table is from Ikea and is only rated for 100 pounds.
Here is the table:

I want to build a much more solid version sized 59"x36" from scratch. On one end I want to setup a Mr. Aqua 12 gallon long. How would I go about making the table strong enough to handle that kind of weight? I am fairly handy, but I need a plan to go off of.
I figured I could pick up a sheet of birch plywood for the top. Build a frame out of 2x4 for the base. But what about the legs?
