I had to say goodbye to Raven, my sassy lady saxatalis, because she just wasn't going to get large enough for the 300 gallon. Found this foot-long beast on sale (relatively speaking) at a LFS and had to scratch my lugubris-group pike cichlid itch. Colored up almost immediately after getting home, too. 
This is the last large fish that will be going into my tank for a good long while. I am pretty happy that there hasn't been (too) much aggression between the new arrival and the residents.
So... that leads me to the next question, which is completely irrelevant because I don't plan on breeding, but humor me, I am excited!!
