well i dont currently have any monsters yet . Pac my red bellied pacu is still a baby at almost 10". and i have a 4" lutino oscar, 2" female GT, 4" male GT, an albino poly, a senegal poly, a 3" placidochromis milomo, 2" livingstoni, some assorted malawi rock dwellers, oh ya how can i forgot last but not least my newest baby 2" jaguar. i currently keep 7 tanks ranging from 125 gallons to 10 gallons and still lookin for more. i have one hell of a water bill but i love the hobby and i just cant get enough. i am trying to talk my fiance into letting me flood the basement so i can get a small group of pacus but shes not so sure ...lol. but the real reason i joined the site is to learn all i can about african lungfish. these guys intrigue me so much its my goal to build atleast a 200 gallon tank to house one in the basement but i am still tryin to talk my better half into that one. and as for the pacu i am sure someone will be reading this thread and say my god i hope he gets a bigger tank to house that monster but the plan is for him to be moving to my cousins house once he gets his 750 gallon south american habitat up and running which should be within the next two months. so theres a lil back ground i hope i can be of some help to someone in the future i am by no means an expert but an avid hobbyist.

Sounds like a good plan for the pacu, Like a lot of larger fish, there is nothing wrong with keeping them as long as you plan ahead.
