its very tasty - very much like eel to be honest - a reasonably high fat content - I've eaten it in eastern europe - only ever seen it for sale on a fish counter once in the UK (that was harrods of all places).

All fish caught in the UK and on a variety of baits too.

Delicious when out of clean water, but when not it just tastes muddy, same with carp.
