I have been here a while now but haven't posted as I have been busy reading posts. I have really enjoyed looking at some of the fabulous photos shown. i have also spent a lof of time researching for a new camera. At the moment I have a couple of p$s digitals but also have a Canon EOS 1000 35mm that i haven't really used for a while. I miss using it and experimenting with the lenses / filters / flashguns etc but love the convenience of digital.
Anyway,after lots of reading here I have taken the plunge and placed my order for a Nikon D70s with 18-70mm f3.5-4.5 lens. I have also ordered a 50mm f/1.8D lens and a 2gb cf card. Next on the list is a uv filter and a reversing ring..I will look at that at the weekend though.
