So i just thought about this because i'm in the process of healing a very beat up fish.

I want to see some of your rescues.

Post pictures of a fish you helped recover from injury or disease.

Post the before and after shots. And also post what you did to help it. :)

(mods, not sure what section this should be in. General, Photos, Or diseases??)

i don't have any pictures, but i took care of a pleco a while ago that had an eye torn out and a deep, open wound on it's belly. It couldn't swim upright, couldn't stay on the bottom, and occasionally released a bloody discharge from it's stomach. It was tough, but after 5 weeks, more or less, it was healthy again. Gave it to a friend (not the original owner), who has it grown out to almost 2' now. it came in a 8-9"

plecos are indestructable.

yeah lol... its basically the same things... melafix heals wounds, and parasite/bacteria stuff for anything that looks like a disease, wide assortments of food and such for all of them cuz a fat fish is a happy fish.... except goldfish who cant help it
