Before and After ......

Well the first picture is the before picture and the second one is the After.
I really like the sand bottom better. It's still a little cloudy, that will be fixed tomorrow after another water change.

Thanks!! It's a pain in the butt to switch gravel to sand, but it looks Sooooo much better.

When we set up that tank in the first place, my son picked out the rocks, I never personally liked them but you know you have to let your kids have some say so. But he liked the idea of the sand so that is what we did and it looks great.

Looks really good. One suggestion though. I would lose the plant background and put a black background instead. The one you have in my opinion has too much going on and it takes one's eyes away from the fish.

I agree, it's just a matter of getting behind it and changing it around. Thanks for the compliment!! I actually will probably just take the background off, I like bare tank backs anyway.

I just went ahead and took off the background. I think it brings out the fish's colors better and you can actually see them without the distraction of the background. Here are some new photos. I will have to do another waterchange tomorrow to clear it up even more. It's unbelievable how dirty the sand is even though I rinsed it a dozen times.

Looks much better. I was amazed how much of difference there was when I did mine.
