Came home to a endli bichir. He has attacked a few fish that i know of, but had been peaceful. I guess the move to the new house changed him... he got greedy! Dead now...

Man that sucks... the CL looked like it has some decent size on it
 
Well it for sure was not a mouth sized fish. I guess he learned the lesson a little late. Sucks it cost me $40 in fish for him to figure it out. This hobby sucks sometimes.

Imagine if the fish follow the plans how much easier this would be

I've personally considered adding 6-7" red tail loach to clean up the leftover food. Great reminder loaches are not a safe poly tankmate. Many of them like to cuddle and have those ocular spines as a defensive mechanism. This instict does not allow the fish to spit their succulent soft bodies out, therefore choking to death.

My butterfly fish ate a danio so big it spat out the skeleton afterwards. Wow
