Beginner plants...

Been doing some research on plants for beginner's. As i want to introduce some live plants to my tank to replace the artificial one. Any have a list of easy beginner plants. No co2 preferably ?

Swords. Moneywort. Hornwort. Foxtail. If you only want one plant, moss is tough and grows great, but may strangle other plants.
 
Lily dwarf and valisneria to add. The other members have mentioned some good plants.
 
I found Bucephalandra fairly easy, similar to but more pricy than Anubias. Another epiphyte you can try is Bolbitis, an African fern similar to Java fern that is said to be easy, but didn’t work out for me.
 
Only problem i find with crypts is they are heavy root feeders and are more than likely to melt when first moved to a new rank before re-growing...

I definitely like Bucephalandra due to the many varieties and colors although price maybe a bit off putting depending on the country you live in...

Anubias is pretty much impossible to kill, so thats always a good choice...

Mosses again are pretty hard to kill and are great for covering wood etc with...

So really depends on what sort of look you are after...
