How hard are motoro stingray to keep, right now i have a silver aro and a clown knifefish, do you think a motoro would make a good 1st ray. i can get a ray for $220, reg. $500
one expensive motoro.... and i would get one ray to start with.... tank size? filtration? read the sticky's by miles as well "freshwater ray profiles" and "why freshwater stingrays die"
180 will be good for a start with the motoro but you will be needing to upgrade in the not so far off future.
like nic has said, i think you should read through the stickys in the stingray section and get a little more info on what is required of these guys.
presonally i dont think they are very hard to keep, just need big tank, big filtration, big water changes and good food. if you have these you should do fine.

Dude, depending on where you are a Motoro should cost you about $150.00 here in Canada. Otherwise you are just getting jacked. Assuming that you are not in Inuvik though. It sounds like a P J Pets price to me. Just thought you should know.
You live in Sascratcharound so it wouldn't be too far for you to drive to Edmonton, Calgary, even Medecine Hat and you could pick one up for 150.00. There is a place in Calgary named Golds Aquariums and they have Motoros quite often for the regular price of........ $150.00.
