Behavioral question

I have a male motoro about 8-9 inch disk he seems more active and aggressive lately. He is even nipping at the red hooks in the tank that are nearly the size of him.

I feed him twice a day a variety of sinking pellets and krill so he should never really be hungry. Should I add some fish to his diet or would that make things worse?I was thinking of trying some silver sides.

I am just hoping he will not eventually murder everything in my tank

Weirdly I have just posted that my marble motoro has just started to nip at my large pearl Ray, she is of a similar size.

She has not done it much today but has done it for 2 days before.

I have been feeding her loads.

its hard to say...

some rays are just more aggressive then others

IME all rays love catching fish and will try to pounce on them every chance they get

I have a feeling my feeding schedule was not followed while I was on vacation. Now that I have been back for almost a week he seems to have calmed down to his normal self
