Belly crawler pike cichlid

I picked this guy up about a week ago and it was just listed as a belly crawler pike cichlid. I’m hoping to get a more exact identification and any info you might have. I’m finding lots of general pike cichlid info, but would like info specific to this one.

Cenicichla sp. belly crawler. Pretty straight forward. Cool little fish, 8'' max in the biggest of tanks.

Thanks, thought maybe belly crawler was a name given to a general group of pike cichlids. Do they become pretty thick at 8”? He’s with some Senegal and Delhezi bichirs
