So, LFS has a belly crawler, really nice green color on it.
Was thinking of putting it in my 3x1x2'
What could I keep with it? I was thinking maybe a GT or JD, but the pike is quite a bit bigger then the GT and JD,do you think he would punk on the other fish?

its possible. depends how aggressive the pike is. i have a 10 inch pike with 3 inch convict and another with a 3.5 inch firemouth. so it can work. it can also be disaster.

id be worried about the jd or gt maybe picking on the pike also in the long term and the tank might be to small for full grown gt or jd.

i think maybe try some of the smaller cichlids, maybe a convict or firemouth. because belly crawlers do stay on the small side. also something liek silver dollars might help to ease aggression

The tank isn't big enough for a GT or JD.

Belly crawlers will go well with those fish but they are still pikes and have large mouths so make sure there isn't to much of a size difference

Alright, cool.
Guess I'll have to find larger tankmates then.

You think it would cohab with a 4'' datnoid?

The b-crawler looks about 5''? It was hiding most of the time but it looked like it had some size to it.

Crawlers are some beefy for their size!! Don't underestimate that mouth either!

That tank is rather small, but crawlers aren't horribly active of pikes either. Throw in a few large pieces of black PVC, and it should be more than content to just stay in there.
