Below Water cichla order

Just getting started into the world of cichla. I have heard in the past that Below Water is a reputable source for many types of predatory/rare fish in Montreal. I am planning to order a group of wild caught kelberi from them and wanted to know if anyone had experience ordering from them before. Any feedback/ pics of cichla ordered from them would be greatly appreciated!

Oliver is a good dude, who gets rare stuff(below water) although if your in the states and want to have it shipped to you you’ll have to pick it up from an airport that deals with live animals...Chicago..st.louis etc. because it’s considered an import. if you live in the states Derek’s fish has Rio parana kelberi.

I'm in Toronto. He's the only guy I have found to bring in wild caught cichla near me. Glad to hear he's a reliable seller.

I've been in communication with Oliver on my first order. Indeed, a stellar guy so far. I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service.

Problem for the US is that one needs to have an importer's license and file paperwork to get a USFW stamp in order to pick up an order and as stated above the airports are limited to only those that have US Fish and Wildlife stations.

He is holding three of his last Lithodoras dorsalis for me. What's he holding for you, if you say "He has my catfish"? I am at the mercy of Rod of Predatory Fins to help me bring them in. And maybe some cichla too. Hopefully Rod and I will put an order together this weekend when Oliver has a new list ready. I think we both would be happy to add you to the order but you will have to work out with Rod ordering and shipping and then reshipping to you, while I am ready to help you along, bro. I just can't repackage if needed and reship to you. Rod surely can.

So Oliver is not holding any fish for you but you'd like to get a Lithodoras from him, right? If so, I'd consider sharing (because the is holding the last 3 for me) but it depends if Rod can help you out with the shipping. Would you like me to talk to Rod or want to try yourself?

Next shipment of Lithodoras would be in Nov, or so Oliver says.

Any other fish you want? (Again either you talk to Rod or I can do it for you but you might want to wait until Oliver's new list is issued this Sat-Sun.)
