Bendy the silver aro update!

So i wanted to give an update on how Bendy is doing. I rescued him from the lfs here a few months ago, and brought him home to try to give him a better life.His back is bent, *(hence his name) So far it looks like he is benefiting from coming home with me. He has graduated to eating 5 large hikari pellets a feeding, and he gets fed 2-3 times a day. (Not counting all those little, "oh he looks hungry" extra pellets that get dropped in.) The first pic is of him the day we got him. The second is with in the 2nd week ,and the third is him today, (even tho the edge of the tank lines up in both. He is about 6 inches right now. I am really enjoying him and can't wait to see what the next month holds for him.

I know he looks sad compared to other aros, but a lot of my fish are hard luck cases. I have a few missing eyes, one missing the tail, busted lips. I tend to take in all the imperfect ones. They appeal to me more :)

that aro has some permenent damage. its the time of aro that my gf would make me buy to rescue it as she feels sorry for all fish that have some sort of deformation lol

Yup sounds like us for sure! We saw this giant danio stuck at the store for months, even tho his tankmates came and went. His mouth was broken or something, and looked like this:eek: but was fat fat. I felt so bad for him that I ended up buying him and put him in our community. No wonder hes fat. He's quicker that any fish in the tank. He just darts around inhaling flake. Luckily the guy at the store gave Bendy to me, tho I would have bought him anyhow.
