So I noticed this afternoon before I left for work that one of my albino channel catfish whiskers as a C shaped curved at the tip of it. Is this normal?

Picture needed, many Ictalurids will occasionally present their barbels im such a manner but it's normally all of or none of their barbels so just one is unusual. Fish size, tank size, and tankmates will also help if you can post them.

I am at work so unable to post a pic. The tank is a 45g with pictus cats rapheal cats a jack dempsey, a texas cichlid red tail shark and some cory cats. the channel cat is only about 4" long at the moment and the largest fish in the tank next would be the pictus cats. just tested my water this morning and water parameters look good although nitrate is a little higher than I would like at about 20ppm. Will be doing a water change tomorrow. Here soon though the fish will be moved to a larger tank.

Hope you plan on upgrading soon. An adult channel cat is going to need a much bigger tank than that.

+1 I am seeing about 360g of water split between 2 tanks, and more later. along with other issues.

Yea, as much as I would love for him to stay small and cute I know how big they get. I live on a lake :). My plan was to upgrade to a 300 and was paying on it but that whent to they wayside so I am going with a 125g for the next step up. That should house him long enough for me and my pops to get our indoor pond put up.
