Best affordable aquarium led lights that look good? I’d like to hear your thoughts on this my friends

Based on the tank size, the price vary!

I am going to replace (removed) the OEM topfin hood lights, and going to get some USB LED Stripe Lights 5050 RGB, ebay has lots of them, amazon should be fine too. Depends on your choice of brightness, my topfin OEM LEDs are white and so bright that my fish can be blind!! Hehehhee.

Lots of DIY videos in YT for LED strips bif you don't like much brighter lights in the tank, it would be total 35 max but worth the RGB options, and mild light on fish!

I have really liked how my fish look with the Beamswork EA full spectrum fixtures in conjunction with the dimmer timers. These are so much more affordable than the Current USA lights Satellite plus I used to use.

Both are nice brands!

Well, as I stated before, my OEM light (TopFin) has bright (too much) light which I didn't like much, so I ended up wrapping a "Lens repair tape" from AutoZone/O'reilley parts..

This is how it looks now!! anyway, if this doesn't work out well (can't see fish actual color). I am gonna get the 5050 SDM LED stripe which is $12 including remote and a kit. I am trying different things here :-))

For the money NICREW seems like the winner here. I've just bought a 375 acrylic aquarium that is 8ft long by 30 inches deep. I'm wondering if anyone has had enough experience with the NICREW to advise on whether or not I'll get penetration down to the bottom of the tank with the 48-54 inch NICREW Classic Plus Gen 2s.

Beamswork and Nicrew are going to be the best as far as dollar value goes. I am using both brands on blackwater, planted, and semi planted tanks, all on timers, and I am happy with them so far.

All my NICREWs; 2 36in and 1 48in have been going about a year and a half 18hrs a day, haven't lost a diode yet!
