everybody has opinions,but which cichlid would u consider the best for the buck.in other words which cichlid is worth every bit of thier average cost.

get a baby Jaguar, soon enough he'll be munchin down whatever you drop in the tank, will chase your finger... and you can buy em around me for roughly 5$ a fish!

Convict. You can get em for roughly a dollar, and they are great, often overlooked, fish. Next I would say Oscars... they are just about the coolest fish ever, and can be got for under 5$
2 convicts would be nice... and aggressive too.. i'd say 2 bredding cons would make short work of anything with it.
