Well I just finished my stand and neglected a seemingly obvious thing...The background.

Also I am wondering if anyone ever did a shadowbox for a planted, I know the reef community has done a few.
For those of you not familiar, it is where you put a shallow box often of hazed acrylic or/and with gel paper sheets complete with lighting to give a look of depth to make it look like the tank extends beyond the aquarium wall for quite a distance.
I am liking black and blue for the ease of it but who knows.
