I just recently got a 65G long tank and I was wondering what would the best bang for our buck be on filtration systems out there. I have two 12" Oscars so I would need heavy duty filters.

ac110. i just bought one for my 150g and it works better than what i expected.
and since you got 2 oscars, since they are messy eaters i say the ac110 and a canister filter and you will good. for a canister i say xp3. both of those filters will get you the best bang for your buck. i say it with confident cuz thats what im running on my 150g, and i have no problem

the ac110 is incredible, it sucks up anything! and moves allot of water. but like Edwin said, defly get a cany also cus o's are very messy.
you can get an AC10 for $65 on amazon, it was called the ac500- its 500gph
and a decent cany for like 100-150

I would go with 2 AC110. That would be the cheapest and give plenty of filtration.

Smaller tanks an AC110 is a good option, but I don't think 1 would be enough for your application. I would personally go with a large sponge filter and an AC 110.

For larger tanks, nothing beats a DIY wet/dry:)

I'm kinda new so what is a DIY sponge??

Given your livestock, I would go with either 2 AC110s or 1 Eheim 2217 for it's great media capacity.
