Best Beginner Fish

Update:
I went to my LFS and found a couple of fish that I really liked. Please tell me which of these fish would be able to fit into a 75-90 gallon tank and if any of them could be tank mates.
- Red Tailed Barracudas
- Flower Horn (preferably red flower horn)
- Black Ghost Knife Fish
- Frontosa Cichlid
-Green Terror
- Yellow King Tiger Pleco
- Green Spotted Pufferfish

You could keep a solo Flowerhorn (don't usually live with other fish) with a Pleco.
A pair of green terrors with the Pleco would also work, though I have been told you get around 6 (small one's) and then keep the 2 that pair off & return the rest to the LFS.

Frontosa can be kept but they grow slowly and if I am not mistaken need very good water parameters.

But if your picking any of these, try and get that 90, not the 75 as all of them will grow fairly large.

The Ghost Knife is a night hunter, so may very well hide by day and they will grow huge, so I don't recommend it, unless you have a friend who can take it after it outgrows your tank.

I don't know anything about Baracuda or Puffer, so can't advise on them.

Just remember bigger is better,
Easier to maintain and easier to look after.
But it really depends on what you want,
if you want a pet, flower horns are awesome.
If you want a beautiful tank with a lot of colors African cichlids are the way to go
