my camera blows. i want a camera thet will zoom good and still keep a good sharp photo. what do you suggest

something with a good shutter speed if your going digital i think they are called DLRs but they run like 600+ if your willing to spend that or u can see if the digital u want has what they call a BURST mode where it will take like 3-5 pics in rapid sucession and u can pic the good ones out

Only problem with that quick rapid burst of photos is the flash can't get them all. So either have great lighting or the pictures will be grainy, which is what you already have right? An SLR will definately give you some great shots...ebay has some nice ones in the $450 to $1200 range depending on how hot you want it to be and how much you are willing to drop...

What are you using now? A lot of the time the problem is the technique rather than the equipment.

what is your price range? a decent DSLR body you could get for 400-500, but this does not include all the money you will spend on lenses, tripods, flash, etc. one of the best DSLR's on the market are Canon Eos 1Ds Mark 3's, but not every body have 7-8 grand for a cam body and thousands more for equipment. both nikon and canon have good entry level DSLR bodies in the 400 range. D40 or D40x nikons, or Canon Rebel Xt's or XTi's-350D-400D.

there are still plenty of point and shoot's that will get the job done though. much less expensive and if shot right can have great effects.

my current camera is a Sony Cyber-shot 3.2 mega pixles

^^^ I agree.. My camera is old and outdated but I get some great shots with it if I get lighting correct/steady the camera.
