Looking for suggestions for a new camera in the $300 range. one that will take good macro shots and a good reliable all around digital camera.

complete camera? if you want good quality pics there's a chance you could get a body only canon SLR, but a low grade one off ebay, and that's slim pickin's, though- i'm not very experienced with point and shoot if that's what your looking for.
